Equal parts art piece and living plant, the Calathea Flamestar is what happens when nature decides to show off. Its striking leaves feature bold, flame-like silver and green markings with deep purple undersides that reveal themselves every time the leaves move; and yes, they actually move, folding up at night like tiny hands in prayer. She's a bit of a diva about humidity and consistency, but one look at those leaves and you'll happily give her everything she asks for.
