Ficus lyrata

This plant is kind of a big deal. You've probably seen it while scrolling through your IG feed or on the cover of Architectural Digest. The vibrant venation, color, and shape of its leaves are what threw it into the spotlight. It's notorious for being dramatic at times, but hey—it ain't easy being famous.

Bright indirect mixed with direct exposure is ideal.

SM: ~10" tall and a 4" pot.
MD: ~15" tall and a 6" pot.
XL: ~4' tall and a 10" pot.
XL: ~5' tall and a 10" pot.

Pro-tip: Brown spots on leaves indicate a need for higher light. Brown or red dots on new growth indicate inconsistent watering.

Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant Portrait

Just passed the two week mark with my new fiddle leaf fig and not one leaf has dropped! Size was exactly as described. A few leaves were damaged, but no plant is perfect I guess. I also bought the Sustee water meter and am watering every 4-5 days in this sunny southern window. It's a great visual cue. And to think I was worried about over-watering😂

Another great fig tree

The reason I purchased this fig tree is because the fig tree that I purchased from Rooted last year is the only fig tree that I have been able to keep alive. It must have something to do with the way they grow them. The new one arrived and it did not disappoint! Big healthy leaves and even a brand new one starting to unfurl. Thank you!
